We have an exciting opportunities for new team members to join our new Community Store in Woodgate, Pease Pottage.
Offering a wide range of food and household staples as well as sourcing from local suppliers & producers where possible, there is plenty of scope to take the shop forward in your own way, working alongside a number of volunteers and with the support of a Management Committee. It truly is a social enterprise where your commitment & aspirations for the role in the community you will play needs to match the commercial performance of the shop. As well as working in the shop you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the business, stock control, and financial management.

You may be a manager or assistant manager of a food or convenience store who wants the freedom & opportunity that bigger chains & groups don’t allow or a keen retailer looking for a new challenge.
We would also welcome applicants who would like to job share this role on a part time basis.
Retail Team Leader (part time)

You will have a passion for retail, good interpersonal skills and be a responsible and hardworking person that is comfortable taking on some management duties.
As well as working in the shop you will work closely with the manager to ensure the effective operation of the shop, stock control, and financial management.
